Thankful Thursday

by Hopeful Spirit on Thursday, June 14, 2007

I’m late! I started playing around with the layout … and then several hours went by. Funny how that works!

So I’m thankful that the principles of CSS are starting to make a bit more sense to me. I was able to get the bottom columns to line up but I’m not going to confess here how long it actually took.Do you like the new layout?

I’m also thankful for wonderful blogging friends, some of whom I have been exchanging e-mails with, who have offered support and encouragement. Several have said, “Don’t quit blogging.”

And on that note … there are some exciting posts coming up from guest bloggers! I am delighted that some very talented writers have decided to participate and share their talent and insights here. So make sure that you check back and read those entries. Better yet, subscribe to the “On the Horizon” feed and you will receive them via e-mail.

Thanks, Iris, for serving as the “Thankful Thursday” coördinator and making “Sting My Heart” the hub. It looks like there are more and more folks participating each week!

Today, the thing I am most thankful for is our wonderful air conditioner repair folks. They are coming tomorrow! Thanks be to the Divine! It was 101 degrees here today … I stayed in the office as long as I could, but then I finally had to come home.

By the time I arrived home tonight, the walls of the house were hot, as was my computer keyboard and mouse. The a/c unit works but leaks freon so at the beginning of every summer, I have to get it recharged. It costs less than $100 so I really can’t justify replacing it yet. But once again, the first couple of really hot days have been completely miserable. I will be so happy to see their truck pull up in front of the house tomorrow morning!Have a wonderful Friday and, as always, I appreciate your visiting “On the Horizon.” Leave a comment!
