I absolutely love this shot!
Happy WW!
simple yet strikingly beautiful!
Oh, great image. Behold, I stand at the door and knock…
So what does this make you think of, Hopeful Spirit?
Well, actually, Millie kind of touched on what I was thinking when I selected the photo. I also was thinking about the parishioners of my former congregation and the locked door reminded me of their brains — shut, locked, dusty and not open to new ideas, theories, suggested ways of doing things . . . not to mention new ways of looking at the world. Unless we are willing to be open to new things each day, our brains and heart end up looking like this door.
When I see this pic, I think that if we lock out heart door and not open for the Lord and others, day after day, there will have much dust there…
enjoy this pic very much..
this is really beautiful
Wonderful photo. It’s amazing what you can do with what you have nearby.
What a great composition and use of lack of color, happy ww
Love shots like this…
Oh, I love this! Happy WW!
Keeping something out, or something in? LOVE the cobwebs; whatever is in there, has been in there for a long time – this picture would make a great visual writing prompt.
I just love B&W’s! This is a great photo!
~smiles~
Beautiful! I’m always a little intimidated taking black and white shots. It’s like the rules are different!
Wow! This is very powerful. What it says to me is… If we decide that we will not let anyone in (”lock ourselves”) no one will want to get to know us.
Wordless Wednesday – Love the concept.
Interesting blog by the way.
the door is getting older and older and someday you might break it without any effort. maybe there´s another door behind it…
Thats also a nice shot! Little by little I start to love this Wordless Wednesday…
I’m off to browse some older WWs!
