Super Simple Spiritual Sunday Edition No. 5
This week I was moved, inspired and reminded of my blessings by an eclectic group of skillful writers. Check out the following articles I discovered this week and be sure to let the authors know you were referred by Hopeful Spirit at On the Horizon:
- Betty Jane offered her simple, but eloquent and profound testimony at Have I Told You Lately.

- Lynn described acts of bravery and selflessness motivated by faith. “In the midst of a world of cynicism, sarcasm and self-centeredness there are people who are committed to Christ.” Check it out at Spiritually Unequial Marriage.
- Peter reminds us to talk about ideas, rather than each other in The Trash Talking Epidemic at I Will Change Your Life.
- Reminiscent of my article about The Second Agreement is “Don’t Take it Personally” at Tupelo Kenyon.
- Therapy Doc wrote about Intimate Opportunities at Everybody Needs Therapy.
- Patty shares her gratitude and thanksgiving for her “new son,” i.e., the one who emerged after her son survived a horrific autmobile accident, in “My Son Gets a Second Life” at Ask Patty.
- Dr. Hal, the Life and Mental Fitness Coach, asks readers, “Do You Have an Energy Leak in Your Soul?” Take inventory of how procrastination is impacting your life.
- Karen Lynch provides perspective on the Law of Attraction with “Don’t, Not and No” at Live the Power.
- Marye at Road Not Taken wrote honestly about having a hard time feeling thankful lately. We’ve all been there and that’s what the Thankful Thursday community is all about, i.e., upholding each other in the good and bad times. Our hostess, Iris, is a blessing to all of us each week.
- Tami posted two wonderful articles that you should read: She wished her husband a happy anniversary with a very touching “Still” and brought a tear to mothers everywhere with “Dead Giveaway.” Check out both at The Next Step. And would somebody please call a publisher? Because if her writing hasn’t been published yet, it is a crime. She is easily one of the most talented writers in the blogosphere.
- Finally, the So Cal Gal shared a story of profound loss followed by profound joy on the occasion of her son’s first birthday. Check out her Thankful Thursday article at Beloved.
Have a wonderful week!

Wow, thanks!! Could you be my agent?!
Would you believe on Friday I was wandering around my little town asking God what we’re doing here with this writing thing? Yet again, you’ve been His instrument, encouraging me to keep doing what He’s asked. Thank you, Hopeful Spirit. You have refreshed me.
