Outside my window. . . the sky is a clear, cloudless blue. There is no breeze. The air is crisp — 47 degrees.
I am thinking . . . about how warm it appears to be, but the cool air was a surprise when I stepped outside.
I am thankful for . . . the beautiful sunshine coupled with the cool air because it is such a refreshing combination.
From the kitchen . . . the sunshine is bright because the window faces east.
I am wearing . . . a comfortable nightshirt.
I am creating . . . a new article to be published here.
I am going . . . to work at home today.
I am reading . . . some of my favorite blogs.
I am hoping . . . that the weather stays exactly as it is all week.
I am hearing . . . nothing. The house is perfectly quiet.
Around the house there is work to be done: Dishes to be washed, laundry to be folded, etc.
One of my favorite things . . . is spending a few quiet morning moments reading the entries of my favorite bloggers in a quiet house with a cup of coffee.
A few plans for the rest of the week: Work, work, work, and more work for which I am thankful because too many people in the United States are without and in search of meaningful work so that they can feed their families. I will keep them in prayer and refrain from complaining as I go about finishing my own assigned tasks.
Here is picture thought I am sharing . . . a photo that one of my good friends sent me via email.
