The Simple Woman’s Daybook: March 30, 2009

Outside my win­dow… the sky is a clear, cloud­less blue. There is no breeze. The air is crisp — 47 degrees.
I am think­ing … about how warm it appears to be, but the cool air was a sur­prise when I stepped out­side.
I am thank­ful for … the beau­ti­ful sun­shine cou­pled with the cool air because it is such a refresh­ing com­bi­na­tion.
From the kitchen … the sun­shine is bright because the win­dow faces east.
I am wear­ing … a com­fort­able night­shirt.
I am cre­at­ing … a new arti­cle to be pub­lished here.
I am going … to work at home today.
I am read­ing … some of my favorite blogs.
I am hop­ing … that the weather stays exactly as it is all week.
I am hear­ing … noth­ing. The house is per­fectly quiet.
Around the house there is work to be done: Dishes to be washed, laun­dry to be folded, etc.
One of my favorite things … is spend­ing a few quiet morn­ing moments read­ing the entries of my favorite blog­gers in a quiet house with a cup of cof­fee.
A few plans for the rest of the week: Work, work, work, and more work for which I am thank­ful because too many peo­ple in the United States are with­out and in search of mean­ing­ful work so that they can feed their fam­i­lies. I will keep them in prayer and refrain from com­plain­ing as I go about fin­ish­ing my own assigned tasks.
