Outside my window… there is bright sunshine streaming through the window.
I am thinking … that I am less than thrilled that the temperature is going to soar to more than 90 degrees today. It is too early in the year and means that it might be a very long, hot summer.
I am thankful for … an air conditioner that works and enough money in the bank to turn it on and be able to pay the bill for the electricity when it arrives.
From the kitchen … I am drinking Instant Breakfast. That’s about as much breakfast as I can ever handle.
I am wearing … a nightshirt because it is still early.
I am re-reading … Romans. I never tire of it and always learn something new.
I am hoping … to get a lot of work done early in the week so that Friday will not be as hectic as usual.
I am creating … a sense of peace within myself.
I am praying … for a good friend who lost her husband a few weeks ago and hoping that she is doing well.
Around the house it is quiet. I am the only one who is awake.
One of my favorite things … is getting up before everyone else and enjoying the morning quiet.
A few plans for the rest of the week: Work, work, and more work!
Here is a picture thought I am sharing. When the weather is so warm, it is essential to drink plenty of cool, refreshing water.

90 degrees! I don’t envy you. I will take the chilly cloudy dampness we have over that any day. Great blog-looking forward to coming back for another visit.
Hi, great post and blog – I’m from australia and although its not 90degress all the time – its hot where i live!! I think your right drinking water ( and a sense of humour) is the answer! Looking forward to future posts!
90 degrees? that is hot. Where do you live? I’m craving for some warm weather, I’m in the UK and I can’t wait for summer to get here. That picture is just reminding me of summer, maybe its just the green grass but its making me think back to my childhood days.
Very peaceful and pleasant morning.
Ice cold water is perfect on a hot summer day!
also a trip to the mall is a nice option, too.
