It is true. So i think we must have a healthy respect for ourselves.

Thank you for sharing such a good quote. Right about now I could use a little uplifting as it has been a very difficult couple of weeks in one of my relationships. Ultimately it us ourself that defines each of us. I need to get back to these basics.

I really love that quote. I’ve read that one about five years ago, and still the words are ringing in my ears. Thanks for sharing it to others. :)

Never heard that quote before, but after reading it, it makes sense and it’s a good quote. Feeling inferior sucks and this is uplifting.

Thanks for the quote!

How true! Its something I try to believe but as always your quote reminds me of it — you have the option to choose your response to any situation

Why does it take someone to post a quote for us to think about how we should react — I don’t know but it does. It reminds me of some buddhism courses i did a few years ago and completely forgot about, but you are of course correct we don’t have to let what anyone says effect us, its up to us to choose what we take in and what we don’t

Great quote! I really loved that one. Thanks! :)

So true — you choose your reaction and you are the only one that can truly control it. Anger and hate comes from within and so do love and compassion

Good!!! Fun reflection photo too.
